About me
I have a passion for helping others strengthen relationships through traveling together. My husband and I have taken my (now young adult) children to all 50 states and more than a dozen countries. As a former mechanical engineer and travel guidebook author, I am detail-oriented and a conscientious planner. I combine my planning skills and travel experience to create trips that are customized for my clients.
Why I love my job
I have been blessed to have many, many happy travel memories with my family. I love helping other people achieve their own travel dreams. I truly enjoy creating customized itineraries for myself and my clients.
Favorite Destinations
I enjoy destinations close to home and far away. I love visiting America's National Parks for their natural beauty. I've been to 37 of them so far. Hawaii is just gorgeous. Costa Rica is wonderful for an active vacation. A Mediterranean cruise is a wonderful way to see a lot of interesting places without having to unpack your suitcase a bunch of times.
About my most memorable vacation
Our family vacation to Alaska was the trip that made me start contemplating a career in travel. We had so many amazing experiences together as a family--playing with sled dog pups at the Iditarod Trail Headquarters, viewing wildlife in Denali National Park, learning how to pan for gold, meeting Santa Claus in North Pole, seeing glaciers up close on a sightseeing cruise, and hiking on another glacier.
