About me
I help discerning travelers realize their travel dreams by removing the stress and overwhelm from travel planning and adding a dash of inspiration. You deserve a vacation uniquely tailored to YOU and YOUR interests, where every day feels thoughtfully and perfectly-planned.

My bespoke itineraries are uniquely designed to completely immerse you in your destination. I have a special passion for all things culinary—and would love to introduce you to your destination’s distinct food and wine traditions through one-of-a-kind culinary experiences. Like a Michelin-star chef, I add the perfect elements to enhance your vacation. The best part? You won’t have to do a thing except relax, recharge, and create memories that last a lifetime!
Why I love my job
Experiential travel (my specialty) makes people more connected to the places they visit, and, in turn, helps them to grow as a human being. I love to travel for this very reason!

Most people don’t remember that “thing” they got for their birthday last year, but they DO remember the trip they took to that Tuscan villa and the personal tour of the nearby vineyard, as well as that Italian Nona teaching them how to make gnocchi. Seeing my clients come home with lifelong memories from a vacation I meticulously planned for them makes my heart sing!
Favorite Destinations
I believe you experience the best of a destination through its food, wine (or other local beverage), and culture. My favorite destinations are those with distinct connections to all three of these elements.

We lived in the heart of Mexico a couple of times over the years, and I’ve always loved the spirit of the Mexican people, their warm and welcoming hospitality and strong sense of family. They are always up for a celebration! I love to show my clients not only the beach/resort towns (‘cuz who doesn’t love a nice beach?) but also the authentic experiences they can have in the central towns like San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. Cultural celebrations such as Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Día de Reyes (Epiphany/Three Kings Day), traditions such as making tamales at Christmastime, and mariachi music at parties have always been at the heart of my most favorite memories of living there. When I add a cooking class or tequila tasting session to my clients’ itineraries, they get to experience that same sense of place and connection that I was fortunate enough to have.

Other international destinations high on my list of favorites are Italy, Spain, France, Egypt and South Africa (Cape Town is a foodie's dream, and the wines here are world-class. Paired with a life-changing safari, this is the perfect bucket list vacation).

I do love my domestic locales as well, especially Hawaii and California Wine Country (Napa and Sonoma are my jam)!
About my most memorable vacation
On this particular adventure, our son (who had just learned about ancient Rome in his middle school social studies class) loved sharing with us all the things he'd learned in school about the Colosseum. We shared a gelato at Valentino’s near the Trevi Fountain daily, where the owner greeted us by name, and we sat in the front row at the Papal audience. Seeing Michelangelo's La Pietà statue in St. Peter’s Basilica (Mary holding the lifeless body of her son, Jesus) in person, literally made me weep -- it was so powerful! Those travel experiences were life-changing for me - they sparked my children’s curiosity of the world even more, increased our love of history, and gave our family a chance to slow down and indulge in la dolce vita.

This is the kind of trip I strive to plan for my clients.
