I love to travel and I focus on helping you make your trip what you want it to be. My motto is: I do all the work, you show up and have fun!
About me
I am a native Californian, I grew up in Texas, and moved around 20 years as a military spouse. I lived in Texas, Arizona twice, Maryland, Germany (2 locations) and England before settling in Colorado. I like to go and experience things, and I like to come home! I am so thankful for the opportunity to have lived in Europe. I can't see too many castles, churches, or old buildings! I love the history and architecture that traveling in Europe provides. For me, one of the greatest ways to experience a new place or culture is through the food--you have to eat!
Why I love my job
I am passionate about the details. I put a lot of time and effort into providing lots of information for your trip. I put a travel packet together for all of my clients that has necessary travel documents, information about your hotel(s) or cruise destinations, what will the weather be like, what to pack, and more. I plan for your trip the way I plan for mine.
Favorite Destinations
My favorite city is Salzburg, Austria. This is the home of my favorite all-time movie: The Sound of Music. So many things to see and experience: The Fortress, the gardens, the Salzach River, the music, and of course the food--pretzels in the square, wiener schnitzel, beer...
About my most memorable vacation
My husband is my traveling partner and we always make to most of our trips. Our most recent travel experience was in November 2018. We went on a river cruise on the Danube from Budapest, Hungary to Nuremberg, Germany. We had not been to Budapest before, so we went a few days early to experience the city. My favorite activity there was the walking tour with a local who had grown up there and know so much about the history. We enjoyed the cities and towns along the river and then we stayed in Nuremberg for a few days after the cruise. We went to see the Zeppelin Field, Kongress Hall, and the museum that has the courtroom of the Nazi War Trials. I didn't know how much I didn't know.
