About me

I am a corporate travel specialist. My career in the travel industry spans more than twenty-five years, and I’ve handled travel arrangements for corporate clients to every continent except Antarctica.

I earned my Certified Travel Counselors (CTC) certificate in 2006 and my Certified Business Travel Consultant (CBTC) in 2012. My undergraduate business degree is from the University of San Diego, and I graduated with my MBA from Xavier University in December 2019.

Though I’ve worked primarily as a travel agent, I understand much of what business travelers go through. I went to college in California and traveled back and forth to Cincinnati about every three months. The problems I experienced were the same kind that people have when they travel for work: cancelled or missed flights, weather delays, schedule changes (company-driven or airline-driven), and re-routing, to name a few. I also know the variations that can happen with different airlines, routes, and layovers.

Business travelers can also experience problems with their hotels accommodations. If hotels overbook they may “walk” you (not honor your reservation), noise and construction can cause headaches for the business traveler as well.

Whether the obstacles you encounter are air-related, hotel-related, or some other kind of issue, I can advocate for you if there is a problem with a service provider. I also know some tricks to help you avoid these problems.

My experience arranging business travel to many different countries has also given me expertise to help you avoid international travel issues. If I don’t already know immigration requirements for entrance and exit documentation for an itinerary I can find the requirements for the traveler and point them in the right direction to fulfill these.
