About me
After many years in the travel industry, I created InTune Travel & Tours to serve individuals and groups looking for travel expertise with a personal touch. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, families, school districts and various organizations such as churches and civic groups throughout the United States. I work with reliable travel partners that have been in business for over 35 years to ensure safe, enjoyable and memorable trips.
Why I love my job
I have loved travel since I was in High School and had the opportunity to travel to Europe. My husband is a band director and asked me to start planning his trips for his students over 15 years ago and since then, I have fallen in love with student travel specifically. I love the educational opportunities for students and the camaraderie the trips create for these students. Every successful trip leaves me with a sense of accomplishment and happiness for what I was able to give those students.
Favorite Destinations
New York City is one of my favorite travel destinations for both student groups and individuals. The city has so much to give in terms of educational value, history, culture, music, theater, food...the list goes on. The first time I was in New York with my husband, we saw the musical Chicago and from that point on, I was HOOKED. This truly is a city with a little bit of EVERYTHING and keeps you wanting to come back for more.
About my most memorable vacation
One of our favorite recent trips was a week in Napa/Sonoma with some good friends. We went to many wineries, had wonderful meals and spent some time in San Francisco exploring the beautiful city. We would go back in a heartbeat and came home with wonder memories.
