Why I love my job
Ever since I was a young girl I have been passionate about travel and all that world has to offer. I have traveled extensively in my life, experiencing many destinations and cultures. While visiting South Africa and Botswana, a feeling came over me that I can not put into words. I felt like I finally found my place in the world. It wasn't just the animals, it was the culture, the untouched nature, the wine! There are so many destinations in the world but Africa tops my list and I love sharing my passion with my clients.
Favorite Destinations
Botswana, hands down, was the ultimate region. At the first lodge I stayed in in the Okavango Delta, I felt like I came home. Seeing giant animals in their natural habitat, floating along in a mokoro and listening to the birds sing to one another and call out to warn when a predator was near, all while staying in a camp that had virtually no impact on the land, was one of the most grounding experiences I have ever had.
About my most memorable vacation
My most recent trip was in California, meeting will all of my Signature Travel Network partners. It was a business trip with some great experiences - the best facial I ever had at the Aviara Spa at Park Hyatt, an amazing food truck dinner, and some quality time with my son who is in the Marines. Sometimes business trips can be great!
