Luxury Italian Tours does not organize tours, but design unique experiences for each and every client.
About me
When I lived in Italy, I was embraced by the locals. They welcomed me into their homes. Introduced me to their families, invited me to spend holidays with their families and took me to places that they visit. When I returned to the US, I relied on organized group tours to replicate my experiences, but always returned with a hint of disappointment. The places visited never seemed special or specific to my tastes. The overall experience always seemed impersonal. I started Luxury Italian Tours to offer customized curated tours that give clients a more unique perspective of Italy. We visit every hotel that we recommend, eat at the restaurants and meet each guide to ensure that our selections are perfect for each client. We do not organize tours, but design experiences.
Why I love my job
I love to travel because I learn something on every trip, meet wonderful people and feel the passion of the locals. Travel energizes me and reinvigorates my passion of life every time! I love sharing my experiences with my clients and imparting my passion of Italy on them.
Favorite Destinations
Asking me that is like asking which is your favorite child. Italy has so much to offer - culture, wine, food, culture, history, art and so much more! Let us plan a unique experience for you and you will discover our Italy.
About my most memorable vacation
I just returned from Sardinia and found the region fascinating! It is a vacation spot for all ages since it combines beautiful beaches with culture, great food and wine and unique landscapes. I explored the norther part of the region and loved its diversity. Porto Cervo is chic with high-end shopping while Alghero is charming and historical with a vibrant old town. I also loved visiting the nuraghe, or ancient towers that over 5,000 years old. I also got to participate in a local festival and especially loved how the region maintains its roots while offering modern amenities. My traditional dinner in a Sardinian village was memorable. The chef roasted suckling pig the same way it was made by shepherds thousands of years ago!
