About me

Information overload! That's what we live in today. Trying to decide if the travel specials we see on the internet are good...or bad, real...or not. You've worked hard for every dollar you have saved for this trip. The first decision is "who do you trust to have your best interest at heart". With 38 years in the industry, I pride myself in keeping my clients best interest in the forefront...its the most important thing I do.

38 years ago I graduated with a degree in Travel and Tourism, but I actually knew I wanted to work in the travel industry at 10 years old...the first time I walked into an airport! True passion........now here I sit...still sending people all over the world. My job is to find out what is important to you, what's not...and gather enough information that when I suggest a destination, resort or cruise, its because I've come to know you.....and THAT is the difference between buying a trip on the internet that THEY want you to buy VS spending time with your friends or family on a vacation that fits your needs and expectations, as well as having someone you trust, that has your best interest at heart. Travel agents ~ a travelers best friend.

Why I love my job

I love to be a part of such a wonderful moment in people's lives. Spending time with family and friends, making memories that last a lifetime! Having people return from their trips describing how wonderful their time away was is great! I never get bored listening to the stories. Then, there are times when people need me to help them get to family in need, or sick. Those are stressful times. I'm glad there is something I can do that can make a difference. It's helping people......that's the bottom line.

Favorite Destinations

I love Hawaii, there are so many different sites and activities. The people are worldly, coming from all corners which makes this destination even more interesting. From the waterfalls to the culture, to the volcano's, Hawaii has to be one of the most beautiful destinations I've seen. St. Lucia comes a close second, I like to call it the Hawaii of the Caribbean! Another is Italy, it just offers so much history, beauty and varied experiences throughout the country.

About my most memorable vacation

Recently I returned from Antigua! I loved this visit. I had an opportunity to visit over a dozen resorts while there. The prices do tent to be high, most resorts in Antigua are high-end, gorgeous resorts. There are many small, boutique resorts that you seriously would just want to live in. Many are set up like suites, large enough I thought to keep me there a while, directly on the beach! The water........amazing! The color of teal and blues and greens make the water so inviting you have to go in. So for an upscale vacation...think Antigua!
