About me
I love to travel and share the world with clients that appreciate unique and custom hands on experiences. I design bespoke life enriching memorable travel that includes all the special activities that you wish to personally experience. I know the destinations that I sell inside and out and have the connections that will assure that my clients truly get the opportunity to not just see a destination but be immersed in its people, its culture, history and its food. I will make sure you have a complete itinerary including unique and off the beaten path experiences that are often life changing that will create common bond with the destination and a new perspective on how you view the world allowing you to create lifetime memories and relationships.
Why I love my job
I have been arranging Active Vacations and Romantic Honeymoons with L & M Travel for many years now and several agencies prior to that. I enjoy working with clients on their vacation and travel plans as it is always a pleasure to turn their dreams and ideas into vacations filled with memories that will last a lifetime. I draft complete itineraries and include all the "must see" activities. I like to think of myself as a "Travel Concierge" or "Custom Vacation Designer"
Favorite Destinations
I am passionate about Italy, I have relatives near Rome and I love the food and wine opportunities. I also love the Islands of Hawaii. My father lived over there and I have been many, many times, I love sharing special places that clients might otherwise miss. I travel there almost every year. Australia, Fiji and New Zealand are also in my list of Favorites. I have been to Australia and New Zealand several times and just love it. Tasmania, Adelaide, Melbourne, The Great Barrier Reef, Hamilton Island, Sydney, Auckland, and Queenstown are some of the most magical places I plan to return this September to Australia. I am a Certified Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Sandals Specialist. I also love to arrange Destination Weddings.
About my most memorable vacation
Recently my family and I traveled to Australia and got to experience Sydney, Perth, Rottnest Island and the Margaret River Area. We visited the SEALIFE Sydney Aquarium where we got to experience the Penguin Passport. With this passport, we were able to go and see how penguins interact with eachother. When we went, the Cheeky Gentoo penguins had begun breeding season, so we were able to assist the males by giving them pretty rocks to give to their potential mates. In the wild, a female Cheeky Gentoo Penguin must accept the rock from the male penguin in order to breed. The male penguin will continue to give the females pretty rocks that she takes to her nest. We were unable to walk on the ice with the penguins due to it being breeding season. We also got to explore Margaret River and go wine tasting. As a family who loves fine wine, we loved being able to explore the wineries and enjoy the views. we went to Busselton Jetty in the Margaret River Area. Busselton reminds us of our very own Huntington Beach! They hold surf competitions just like the US Open. The clear waters were a sight to see as we stood out watching the waves crash along the beach while the surfers rode in. We read the local plaques on historical events and got to take a stroll down the pier. Besides an above ground tour of the island, there was also an underwater observatory to explore the natural sea life in their homes. Before our journey back to Perth, we stopped by the Goose Cafe for coffee and food. My son Sean climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge while my husband Mike and I watched from on the ground. This bridge has numerous different climb options one can choose from depending on the thrill level someone wants to experience. Sean of course chose the highest point to climb and got a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour, including the Opera House.
