Q: What is ASTA Latin America Showcase and where will it be taking place?

A: Think of a FAM + Conference combined. ASTA's Latin America Showcases are a fusion of immersive in-person experience, educational training on destination knowledge, and your gateway to new connections. 

  • Destination: All meetings will take place at our host hotel and venue, the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen.

Q: How do I register a colleague or guest?

A: If you are planning on traveling with a guest, you will need to register at the Double Occupancy rate. You can indicate who your guest is through the registration process and the necessary details we need from them. You will not need to register your guest separately.

ASTA is committed to providing all attendees with a safe experience during our in-person events. A: We recommend flying into the Juan Santamaría International Airport. 

Q: What is the typical weather like in Costa Rica in May?

A: In the month of May, maximum temperature in Costa Rica is 83°F and minimum temperature is 68°F (for an average temperature of 76°F). May is one of the best times to visit Costa Rica.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: The dress code for events taking place during the days is business casual with comfortable shoes. All sightseeing activities are casual dress with comfortable walking shoes.
