Post-Tybee Island Educational Journey: November 17–19, 2021

Just a short, scenic drive from historic Savannah, Tybee Island is one of the most quirky and colorful beach towns in the country, where coastal charm meets laid-back beach vibes. This three-square-mile enclave is jam-packed with hyper-local attractions, tours, shopping, and dining and don’t forget our white sand beaches and sunset-crowned saltwater marshes. Your Tybee adventure can include, Tybee Light Station, the brand-new Tybee Island Marine Science Center, a Dolphin Boat Tour, dining at the famous Crab Shack where the elite eat in their bare feet and Fort Pulaski National Monument.

Guests will be picked up from their Savannah hotel on Wednesday and driven to Tybee Island where they will enjoy a two-night stay at Hotel Tybee overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Hotel Tybee is located on the south end of Tybee next to the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion.

Day 1: Wed., Nov. 7th
2:00pm Transfer to Tybee departs from Westin Lobby
3:00pm Check in
6:00pm Welcome Reception in Grandview at Hotel Tybee

Day 2: Thurs., Nov. 18th
On-The-Go Breakfast at Registration Center
9:00am Meet at Registration Center for pick up
9:15am Tybee Light Station and Museum Tour
10:15am Tybee Marine Science Center Tour
11:15am Fort Pulaski National Monument
12:15pm Lunch at The Crab Shack
2:00pm Dolphin Boat Tour
3:30pm Return to Hotel Tybee for a free evening of enjoying the beach and Tybee’s many great restaurants.
