When/Where is the 2019 ASTA Small Business Network Conference taking place?
The 2019 Conference is taking place September 29 - October 1, 2019 at the brand new Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, CO located less than 10 minutes from Denver International Airport. Address of the hotel is 6700 North Gaylord Rockies Boulevard Aurora, CO 80019.

Is there a special rate at the host hotel for attendees?

What is the cutoff date to book my room using the discounted rate?

Do I need to be a member of the ASTA Small Business Network to attend?

Short answer is yes. You must be a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors in order to attend. Not a member? Individuals can register under the non-member rate, which includes a one-year membership to the ASTA Small Business Network.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, you may bring a non-industry guest to the 2019 ASTA Small Business Network Conference. Guests must be non-industry specific and not be travel advisors, suppliers or peers. Guest registration allows individuals into all parts of the Conference.

What’s included in my registration?
Your registration includes the following,

  • Access to multiple education sessions
  • Complimentary admission to our evening events
  • Admittance to the trade show floor to meet with several suppliers

Please note: All sightseeing tours and FAMs are not included in the registration fee.

What is the weather like in Aurora, CO in September/October?
Aurora, CO averages a daily maximum temperature for September & October that's between 66 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 25 degrees Celsius).

What is the dress code?
The dress code for events taking place during the day at the ASTA Small Business Network Conference is business casual. While we expect the weather to be beautiful outside, don't forget a jacket or sweater -- sometimes the temperature of the meeting rooms can be difficult to control. All sightseeing activities and evening receptions are casual dress. However, western attires is strongly encouraged for "Wild, Wild, West" Themed Welcome Reception.

I need a VISA to attend. How do I obtain a letter of invitation?
An invitation letter can be issued in support of your visa application after you have completed your 2018 Conference registration.
Please provide the following details to meetings@asta.org:

  • Complete name
  • Date of birth
  • Your address, email and telephone number
  • Your ASTA membership status and ASTA membership ID
  • How long you plan to stay in U.S.A.
  • Where you plan to stay during your stay in the U.S.A.
  • When you plan to leave the U.S.A.

Will a photographer or videographer be present?
Yes, we will have a licensed photographer or videographer on-site that will be capturing all of the exciting moments. All images and videos will be used for promotional purposes.
