Chad Martin

Director of the Northeast Region, Israel Ministry of Tourism

Chad Martin is the Director of the Northeast Region for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Appointed in 2016 on the heels of ten years’ experience in the Israeli travel industry, he is the first American to serve in this role.

Since joining the Ministry of Tourism, Martin has been an active partner of ASTA and an advocate for the organization’s effectiveness in connecting with the American travel industry. In 2017 and 2018, he addressed the ASTA Global Conference leading up to the 2019 ASTA Destination Expo in Israel, which he spearheaded for the Ministry of Tourism. In 2018 Martin was also nominated as the ASTA Supplier Representative of the Year. In the long term, Martin’s hope is to broaden the scope of how each audience views the power of travel – most especially travel to Israel.
