Dan McCoy

Chief Innovation Officer, Transportation Security Administration

Dan McCoy is the Chief Innovation Officer at the Transportation Security Administration. His office leads the innovation strategy for TSA as an enterprise, inclusive of innovation training, culture, and ecosystem development. Marking his first year at the organization on May 8th, Dan is proudest of launching TSA’s first design thinking training in partnership with a Top 10 MBA program, finalizing the international Open Architecture agreement with ACI-Europe; Heathrow; and others, and completing TSA’s first crowdsourced ideation challenge Power of Passengers in partnership with NASA.

Prior to TSA, he was the Domain Manager for Deloitte’s Catalyst brand, the global ecosystem innovation business, focusing on partnership, emerging technology, and innovative business models to transform government.
