Robert “Bobby” Godwin | Director of Marketing, Travel Leisure Alliance
Robert “Bobby” Godwin is a third-generation member of the travel agency community, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father, and mother.
Bobby holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree for Management Information Systems from Sam Houston State University.
After college, Bobby worked for a year in automobile sales. As he puts it, “Working in automobile sales is a sure-fire way of overcoming fear of rejection”.
Bobby then joined Net-Recon, an Austin-based technology enterprise. During his time at Net- Recon he managed Leisure Travel Alliance’s websites and produced a majority of LTA consumer email pieces as a third-party vendor.
In May of 2011. Bobby joined LTA as Director, LTA Marketing. Promoted to Vice President in 2016, Bobby now has responsibilities in all aspects of LTA’s operations. LTA is an ASTA Premium Member and Bobby serves on ASTA’s Consortia Committee.
