About me
I have been a Travel Advisor since 2008. I take great pride in providing my clients with the best possible advice, insights and planning for their travel. My company name is It's a Snap Vacations LLC. I am not and have never been associated in anyway with an online travel company known as Snap Travel. There was some confusion in 2018 and inquires from people trying to get in touch with Snap Travel. It is vital for my present and future clients to know there is no connection between It's a Snap Vacations LLC and Snap Travel.

Why I love my job
When creating a custom vacation itinerary, my goal is to provide my clients with both a personal connection and professional guidance, which is lacking in the world of internet booking.

As a former elementary school teacher I encourage and listen to my clients. The wants and needs for their upcoming travel plans, as well as their past vacations and styles of travel, are important to know. Being a good listener is key for my understanding and future research.

Over the last eleven years I have become a Certified Travel Advisor, as well as specialist in river cruising, both in Europe and the USA. And I have had many happy clients sail in S.E. Asia as well. River cruising is an ideal way to see many wonderful cities and sights. Just sailing down a river, stepping off your ship into the heart of historic and charming locations is magical. Professional staff, local guides, superb foods and wines and only having to unpack once. Perfection!

I also handle many other vacation destinations, Hawaii, Alaska and Iceland to name three very diverse locations. I'm experienced in booking rail and car rentals in Europe as well as Baltic and Mediterranean cruises.
Favorite Destinations
I'm a passionate lifelong traveler. Having explored over 20 countries. One of my favorite travel experiences has been sailing from Prague (via Nuremberg) to Budapest on the Danube. I've enjoyed this immensely during the spring and fall and on Christmas Market river cruises (3 times). Extending a river cruise with a stay in Amsterdam or Lucerne has added many happy memories to my travels.
Cruising the Baltic, exploring Sweden, Finland, St. Petersburg, Estonia and Norway have been very memorable.
About my most memorable vacation
In my earlier years of travel my husband and I had a spine tingling drive thru the Scottish Highlands, never had we seen such remote vistas or heard such...Silence! But the spine tingling started when we thought, for several, several miles, we were going to run out of gas. Luckily there was a gas pump at a small store. The shop owner had to unlock and unchain the gas pump for us. Yes, travel provides lots of opportunity for unexpected adventures.
