ASTA's Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) 

The Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) is the single most influential stakeholder group within the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). It is comprised of the heads of the largest travel agency/TMC, consortia, franchise organization, host agency and supplier members of the Society. The CAC was formed in the early 2000s to give a distinct voice to these large entities and to provide a support system for ASTA’s federal, state and industry advocacy efforts, which lies at the foundation of the Society’s mission. The CAC focuses on issues of common interest to the travel agency community, formulating a strategy to speak with one voice before federal regulators, members of Congress, state legislators and other industry groups.

All ASTA members pledge to conduct their business activities in a manner that promotes the ideal of integrity in travel and agree to act in accordance with the applicable sections of the Principles of the ASTA Code of Ethics.
