Planning fully-customized Nerdventures to celebrate the nerd in all of us!
About me
I specialize in bespoke travel--specifically Nerdventures--whether that's an in-depth tour of a specific state/country/national park or an ocean or river cruise to your favorite destinations. I can simplify the planning process by building an itinerary, giving you flight and hotel/ship options to choose from, offering suggestions of excursions, and booking your whole trip for you. Plus, you'll have someone in your corner before, during and after travel to help should any needs arise.
Why I love my job
I love researching destinations, hotels and activities so my clients have the best vacation possible. I love working with people who love to travel and planning the perfect vacation for every client.
Favorite Destinations
Hawaii is one of my favorite destinations because there is so much to do there. From hiking around Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to snorkeling with manta rays to visiting a goat dairy on Maui, there's something for everyone.
Alaska has to be on this list as well. If you haven't been there, you just can't fathom how majestic it is. And, getting to dogsled on top of a glacier was one of the highlights of my life!
Europe is also a favorite destination of mine. It's hard to narrow it down to one city or country, but Italy, Germany, Ireland and England are some standouts for me. I love the architecture and the history. I love museums and Europe has some of the best in the world.
About my most memorable vacation
My husband and I spent two weeks touring Italy over Christmas and New Year's one year. We started in Milan and saw da Vinci's "Last Supper" and walked on the roof of the Duomo. Then, we took the train to Venice, which is now one of our favorite cities. From there, we took the train to Rome and got to go to the Christmas Eve Mass at the Vatican, and on Christmas Day, I ran with the pigeons at the Circus Maximus. We traveled on to Florence and drank hot chocolate on the Ponte Vecchio while it snowed. Finally, we stayed in Arezzo with some friends and rang in the New Year.
