I am a travel specialist in European destinations: France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Croatia, United Kingdom - anything Europe. Within the European destination experiences, the a passion of my expertise is river cruising.
Why I love my job
Planning a vacation for people saves them valuable time that they would have spent sorting through travel suppliers, comparing experiences, assuring the best lodging, transportation, and detailed experiences. Of course I take joy in sharing places to see or things to experience that they were not aware of! These are the best surprises for my clients when they see the itinerary. Creating happiness, relieving stress and saving time for people are the things I enjoy most about my job!
Favorite Destinations
It's so hard to choose my favorite - because I have so many places I love. However, if I had to choose one, it would be the Swiss Alps in Switzlerand. I visited them for the first time in high school, and fell absolutely in love with the beauty here - so much so that my husband and I made this destination our honeymoon! In addition, the chocolate, the rich food, and the beer all added to our wonderful cultural experience.
About my most memorable vacation
My most memorable vacation was in high school. I toured Europe with a choir from Ohio. Our director had served the US in WWII, and he had developed many friendships across Europe. While on this choral tour, we stayed with "host families" in various cities. This was truly a culturally immersive experience into the homes of the country's people - and it created a truly unforgettable vacation!
